This page lets you request deletion of your MISAC account and the personal data associated with it. You can submit a deletion request from this page without installing the MIS.AC mobile application. If you prefer, you can also delete your account from within the app at Profile > Settings > Delete Account.
What this means: When we receive your verified deletion request, we will permanently delete your personal account data within 30 days. Some records may be retained longer for legal, accounting, audit, or tax compliance reasons under Nepal law - those exceptions are listed below.
1. What Gets Deleted
Once your deletion request is verified and processed, the following data is permanently deleted from our active systems:
- Your account profile (name, email address, phone number, profile picture)
- Login credentials and authentication tokens
- Biometric credential references stored on your device
- Push notification tokens (Firebase Cloud Messaging)
- App preferences, settings, and saved views
- Personal documents and scanned images you uploaded
- Personal form submissions and draft entries
- Location records captured for attendance check-ins
- Device identifiers tied to your account
- Crash reports and diagnostic logs linked to your account
2. What May Be Retained and Why
Some data may be retained beyond the deletion window for the reasons listed below. This retention is required by law or necessary to protect the integrity of business records owned by your organization:

Important for organization users: If you use MIS.AC as part of an organization (employer, business, cooperative, school, hospital, NGO), the accounting and operational records you entered belong to that organization, not to you personally. Deleting your account removes your personal profile and access, but does not delete records owned by the organization. To delete organization-owned data, the organization's account administrator must submit the request.
3. How to Submit a Deletion Request
Option A - Submit a Request Through This Form
Fill out the form below. We will verify your identity by sending a confirmation email to the address registered on your MIS.AC account.

Send an email from the address registered on your account with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Include your full name, registered email or phone number, app username (if different), and whether you want personal data only or organization data as well.

Open the MIS.AC app, sign in, then go to Profile > Settings > Delete Account. Confirm the deletion when prompted. The request is sent automatically and you will receive a confirmation email.
4. Timeline
- Submission: You submit the request through this form, email, or the app.
- Verification (within 2 business days): We send a confirmation email to the address on your account. You click the link to verify.
- Processing (up to 30 days from verification): Your personal account data is deleted from active systems.
- Backup purge (up to 90 days from verification): Your data is removed from encrypted backups as part of our backup rotation cycle.
- Confirmation email: We send a final email confirming deletion is complete.
5. Before You Delete - Things to Know
- This is permanent. Once your account is deleted, it cannot be restored. You will need to create a new account to use MIS.AC again.
- Organization records stay. If you posted accounting transactions, payroll entries, or other operational records as part of an organization, those records belong to the organization and remain in the system.
- Active subscriptions. If you have an active paid subscription, please cancel it before requesting deletion. We do not issue refunds for the unused portion of a billing cycle.
- Export your data first. If you want a copy of your personal data before deletion, request a data export by emailing [email protected] with the subject "Data Export Request" before submitting your deletion request.
- Pending transactions. If you have submitted vouchers or documents that are pending approval, those will be marked as "deleted user" and may still appear in audit trails for compliance reasons.
