A second level under User Type: named subtypes, each belonging to one type, kept from the older version of the system.
Nothing in the system reads it today. Like User Type, a subtype does not change what anyone can do or see; that comes from the role in Access Roles. You can leave this list empty.
When to use it
Only if you keep a user type list and want to split a type further for your own reference.
Before you start
The user type it belongs to must exist in User Type.
Where to find it
Setup > User > User Subtype.
The fields on this screen
| Field (on screen) | What to enter | Required |

| User Type | (not explained yet) | Yes |

Tips and common mistakes
- Do not use subtypes to control access. Use Access Roles.
