A list of the VAT payments recorded against the return: the date, the receipt number, the month the payment was filed under and the amount. The amount is totalled at the foot.
When to use it
When you settle a month's return and need to see what has already been paid, and when the tax office asks for proof of payment for a period.
Before you start
- The payments are recorded on the VAT Register entry screen, with their receipt numbers.
- You need permission to open the Statutory reports.
Where to find it
It is in two places:
- Reports > Statutory Reports > VAT Reports > VAT Payment Register.
- The Reports panel, under Tax & Compliance, as Tax Payment Register.

How it works
The report keeps the register lines classified as a payment and shows them as they were recorded. Its total feeds the VAT Paid column of the Maskebari summary, so the two should agree month for month.
Nothing is written back from here. Correct a wrong receipt number or amount on the VAT Register entry screen.
Tips and common mistakes
- The month list is not complete. You cannot reach a payment filed under Ashadh from the month picker, because it sends a slightly different spelling. When a month comes back empty, leave the month blank and read the Month column.
- There is no year filter and no date range. With the month left blank you get every payment ever recorded, and a month filter on its own mixes the same month from different years. Read the Month column together with the date.
- The report does not show which bank the payment came from. That is not recorded on the register line.
- A payment that was made but never recorded here does not reduce anything. The Maskebari summary will show it as still owing.
