The weekly class timetable, one row per slot. Each row says, for a class and section on a given day and period, which subject is taught, by whom, and in which room.
When to use it
At the start of a term when the timetable is drawn up, and whenever a subject, a teacher or a room changes.
Before you start
The Class, the Section, the Period and the Subject must already exist. Each must be ticked active, or it will not appear in the list. The teacher is chosen from the staff list, so teaching staff need a staff record.
Where to find it
Masters > School > Timetable.

How it works
Each row is one slot, so you build a full week for one class and section a row at a time. Saving posts nothing and creates no attendance sheet. The timetable says what should happen; Attendance records what did.
The rows feed the Class Timetable report, which lays them out as a week for a chosen class and section. A teacher's own week is read from the same rows, so that view only works if you name the teacher on each slot.
Retiring a period on the Period screen stops it being offered here, but does not remove slots already using it.
Tips and common mistakes
- Nothing stops two rows for the same class, section, day and period, so a double booking saves without a warning. Look at the week in the Class Timetable report after any change.
- Subject and Teacher can both be left empty. That is useful for a free period, but it also means a half-finished slot will save.
