The documents the automatic reading could not finish on its own, with the reason each one is waiting and how sure the reading was when it stopped.
When to use it
You uploaded bills, and some came back finished while others did not. This is the list of the ones that need a person before they can go any further.
Before you start
The AI document add-on has to be switched on for your workspace, and you need viewing rights on this screen. Your workspace must also be linked to an automation account, or the screen tells you that instead of listing anything.

AI > Review Queue.
How it works
- The list opens on the items still pending. The filter switches it to approved, rejected, or all of them together.
- Why it is here is the reason the reading stopped, and Waiting since is how long it has been waiting.
- Click a row to open the document, where you can read what was taken off the bill before you decide anything. Approving from the list alone would mean approving a line of text, so the row takes you to the document first.
- Approve accepts the reading, and it becomes an accounting entry. Correct anything wrong on the document before you approve, because approving is the moment it becomes real.
- Rejecting needs a reason, so you do it from the document, not from this list.
Tips and common mistakes
- This is a window onto the queue held by the reading service, not a second copy of it. What you do here is what the service sees.
- Read the document before approving. A document is in this queue because something about it was not clear enough to finish unattended.
