One row per finished product taken into stock, with the date, the document it came in on and the quantity received, totalled at the foot.
When to use it
At month end, or whenever you need to answer "how much did we actually make", without the raw material side cluttering the list.
Before you start
- The Finished Goods Received documents for the period are entered.
- You need permission to open the Production reports.
The filters
| Filter (on screen) | What to enter | Required |
|---|---|---|
| Select Product | Pick one or more products. Leave it blank to include every product. | No |
| From Date | Start of the period the report covers. | No |
| To Date | End of the period the report covers. | No |
Where to find it
Reports > Production > Finished Goods Receipt Register.
How it works
The report reads the Finished Goods Received documents and keeps only their output rows, so what you see is production coming into stock and nothing else. The quantity column is totalled at the foot. Nothing is written back: a wrong quantity is corrected on the document it came from.
Tips and common mistakes
- Quantity is totalled across whatever products are in the list, so the total is only meaningful when you have narrowed the report to one product or to products sharing a unit.
- Leaving both dates blank returns everything ever received. Set a period.
- Goods still on a production order and not yet received do not appear.
