An entity is an organisation the system hosts: your company and, in a group, its parent or subsidiary companies. This screen shows the organisation register. For each entity you see its name, domain, legal numbers (PAN/VAT), currency and fiscal year, and which entity is its parent.
This is an administrator screen. Only platform or super-admin users can open it. Ordinary users will not see it, and you do not normally need it for day-to-day work.
When to use it
Rarely. An administrator uses it to review the organisation's registered details or to model a group of companies. Creating or changing an entity affects the whole organisation, so take care.
Where to find it
Masters > Organization > Entity (visible to administrators only).

Tips and common mistakes
- Do not add test or demo records here. Each entity is a real organisation.
- Changes here apply to the whole organisation. If you are unsure, check with your platform administrator first.
